End of the year gifting
The snow is falling hard here in Minnesota as we get ready to celebrate the end of one year and the beginning of another. At Strong Towns, we feel very fortunate to have visited many places this year, reaching thousands of people with our message of how important it is to build a strong and healthy community. Our readership has doubled again for a third year in a row, an invigorating, yet humbling, testimony that our message continues to resonate. Thank you for being part of that.
Someone tweeted yesterday that they were making donations to non-profits and was wondering about giving to Strong Towns. I tweeted back to them that we are a 501(c)3 non-profit, non-partisan organization with a national reach and a powerful message. I also included this:
@OctaviusIV @mlroach To lobby for small, we're a very good bang for the buck and would welcome a personal relationship along w/ a donation.

We are a nimble and focused organization and we intend to stay that way. True to the core values we espouse for cities, our projects and initiatives embrace the incremental, iterative approach. Chaotic and smart, as we like to say. We punch far above our weight class so every dollar donated to Strong Towns goes a long, long way.
And my tweet was not just a platitude. Our donors and supporters are friends and compatriots. We are small and focused enough as an organization to have a personal relationship with our supporters. As we see it, we are in this together and so we learn from each other.
If you are in a position to make a donation this season, please consider supporting our efforts at Strong Towns. We'd be happy to talk with you about the initiatives we are working on and how your support can help us advance this important movement.
And if you've not yet become a member, please consider that as well. We have a membership level for everyone. Connect with us so we can support you and others in building strong towns.
