CNU 21 Preview: The Conservative Caucus Lunch

One of the off-program CNU events that was started a couple of years ago was the Conservative Caucus lunch. I plan to be there again this year and invite everyone, regardless of political persuasion, to join us there for some food and good conversation about how good urbanism is consistent with conservative principles.

Here are the details:

In 2011 a handful of conservative-minded New Urbanists decided to organize a get together for fun, good conversation and to raise awareness of how New Urbanist principles are consistent with traditional, conservative thought.

With the national political scene ever more polarized it is crucial to discuss how we can communicate the value of the New Urbanism to people and politicians of all political stripes.

Join us for the (unofficial) CNU Conservative Caucus lunch on Thursday during 2013 Congress. There is no formal agenda - just a time to meet and have a mashup of ideas. People of all thoughts and philosophies are welcome to this friendly gathering.

Location to be determined. Please RSVP so we can get an idea of how big a space we will need.

You can still register for CNU 21 in Salt Lake City by going to the congress website.
