Best of Blog: TEDx

This past fall, I was given a tremendous opportunity to take part in TEDx 1000 Lakes, a local TED-affiliated production. I was given 15 minutes to speak on the topic The Important Difference between a Road and a Street, something I am very passionate about. The video was professionally recorded and produced and I could not be happier with how it turned out.

As of today, The Important Difference between a Road and a Street has been watched nearly 8,000 times. It is remarkable to note that, while I don't pull a lot of punches in touching on some of the more sensitive issues with our development pattern, the video has been "disliked" zero times. No dislikes. In an era where anonymous posters are free to leave all kinds of distasteful comments, in two shorts months this talk has attracted nothing but positive feedback. The power of the Strong Towns message.
