2022 Strongest Town Contest SWEET SIXTEEN

Strong Towns is excited to welcome you to our seventh annual Strongest Town Contest Sweet 16 Round. We received dozens of nominations for this year’s contest, from cities all across North America.

Strong Towns staff chose sixteen finalists—there were so many great nominees, it wasn’t easy—and now the contest is in your hands. Above are the eight first round Sweet 16 matchups displayed in the overall contest bracket. Nominees answered questions on a range of topics, from how they are addressing transportation to economic resilience to housing choices.
