Announcing Strong Towns Regional Gatherings
Strong Towns is pleased to announce a series of regional gatherings, beginning fall 2018.
Do you like our vision of bottom-up, incremental, grassroots action to make your city or region more financially strong and resilient?
Are you eager to connect with other #StrongCitizens in your city or region who are working to make that vision a reality?
Would you like to explore in depth how Strong Towns principles apply to the place you live—or a region you don't call home but still care deeply about?

The regional gatherings are for all Strong Towns enthusiasts—that means you!—from longtime supporters to those who have just discovered us. They are an opportunity to convene, share experiences and inspiration, and leave feeling empowered to take action to better your communities. We will be hosting four of them around the United States, beginning this fall and continuing throughout 2019.
We've hosted national get-togethers before. This time, we opted for a set of regional gatherings because we know that, although the Strong Towns principles of fiscal resilience and building prosperity from the bottom up are universal, each city and region has its own unique challenges and circumstances. We're excited to give you the chance to hone in on how Strong Towns can make your specific place stronger, with others who care about that place as much as you do.
The first Strong Towns Regional Gathering is being held October 3rd-5th, 2018, in Plano, Texas. You do not have to be from Texas to attend. However, please be aware that the speakers and issues discussed will have a regional focus on North Texas.
